Producer and DJ Juls is a well know producer both in the UK and around the world.

In 2017 he released his first album Leap Of Faith, a foretelling for his aim to dive 100% into his musical career. Having already produce big hits like Skin Tight, Hollup and Bankulize for Mr Eazi the album tight showed a desire for more.

In the time after Juls continued to work with heavyweights from the afrobeats scene, with notable tracks include Gwarn (Burna Boy) So Mi So and Sister Gril (Wande Coal).

His recent cut on the Goldlink Diaspora album (U Say, featuring Tyler The Creator and Jay Prince) also drew in more attention.

Despite all of the international heat Juls is still very much UK through and through. His track Bad (featuring Not3s, Kojo Funds and Eugy) was an early throw to his current project in terms of drawing all of his influences together.

Through his project Colour Juls shows his diversity in influences, eye for new talent, and the wide range of genres he is in too. From reggae/dancehall vibes on Slow Down (Agent Sasco) and Radar (Big Zeeks & Sweetie Irie) to more R&B and Afrobeats vibes on the tape.

The project has a heavy UK presence with one of Jul’s favourite tracks being No Lie featuring Knucks, Che Lingo and XamVolo. He describe’s why this is in the interview.
